In further good news in May, Elgin Energy was granted planning permission for Milltown Airfield, a 50MW solar farm in North East Scotland. Milltown Airifeld is a 50MW site located near Elgin in Moray. It is the first solar development approved by the Energy Consents Unit (ECU) of the Scottish Government which rules on projects of 50MW or greater in output. It is adjacent to Speyslaw, 20MW (another one of our projects) which was granted planning in August 2017. Both projects are located on Innes Estate. This makes a total of 90MW of fully consented projects in Scotland.
