Saving Energy Renewables North East Celebrate Solar Installation Contract

News

Saving Energy Renewables North East "“ has been awarded the tender to install a 224 kw or 0.224 MW commercial solar system by Arch, The Northumberland Development Company.

The company completed a major commercial contract for Arch earlier in the year - comprising of installing Solar PV to 380 properties located in one of the most deprived areas of the North East.

Saving Energy will be completing a 500 square metre solar PV installation across three of Arch's commercial buildings located at the Wansbeck Workspace in Ashington.

Speaking about the contract win, Saving Energy Renewables North East Managing Director, Garry Coulson said: "This is an exciting project for Saving Energy and demonstrates our on-going commitment to helping companies install energy efficiency measures that will not only help to save the environment, but also allow for significant savings to be made on future electricity bills.

"We have been greatly impressed by Arch's continued focus to invest in renewable energy measures that provide both their business tenants and residents with the chance to significantly reduce their energy bills by up to 50 percent through the installation of energy efficiency measures such as solar PV. It is great that Arch see the real benefits and considerable value in their investment.

"Securing a second contract to a company of such high calibre as Arch is a real privilege and a great reflection of the proven capabilities of Saving Energy."

The business prides itself in using the most technologically advanced solar equipment and will be supplying and fitting 934 Solarworld panels in mono black alongside the most advanced invertor technology, Enphase's micro invertors. The leading micro invertor technology delivers higher production with greater efficiency.

It is expected the project will be fully completed in just under 12 weeks and the company has already engaged with local companies who will support in the installation works. These companies include MK Electrics who will be utilised for the AC installations and Sanderson's who will support the project by completing all trenching works.

Garry further added: "We appreciate that solar PV can be a large investment for any business and that is why we offer a range of flexible funding options to suit the individual needs.

"There has been a solar boom in the commercial market, especially in the last few months, and despite challenges faced by the industry, the need for solar will not cease, and as such we will continue to be at the forefront in the solar industry."

The company has a range of commercial solar projects in the pipeline over the next few months including the installation of solar PV to a local middle school as well as one of the North East's top car dealerships.

Established in 2013 following on from the success of its Essex based sister company Saving Energy, the North East business now employs 30 people, offering a full end to end service, the renewable energy company provides and installs a full suite of energy efficiency measures from solar PV and thermal, biomass and boiler changes right through to LED lighting and external wall insulation. The company offer their services to homeowners, councils, housing associations and businesses.
