Daikin and Greene, Tweed join forces

Alliance developed between Daikin Industries and Greene, Tweed. Joint expertise for faster commercialisation of new material solutions
Daikin Industries and Greene, Tweed have signed an agreement that combines Daikin’s material knowledge with Greene, Tweed’s focused industry knowledge. This new worldwide alliance accelerates the delivery of the next generation of perfluoroelastomeric seal solutions to device manufacturers in the semiconductor, petrochemical, power generation, aerospace and oilfield markets.

The agreement between Daikin and Greene, Tweed brings together the expertise of each to collaborate in joint design, development, production and marketing of new sealing products. This alliance impacts every market Greene, Tweed operates in and offers greater opportunities for each company’s customers. Greene, Tweed holds the exclusive rights to market, manufacture and sell the products developed via the alliance.

Daikin’s Senior Executive Officer, Kiyohiko Ihara, stated, “Our increased synergy creates a collaborative vertical supply chain that will accelerate future technical development in the industry.” John Jorgensen, CEO of Greene, Tweed, said, “Our collaboration with Daikin aligns our R&D efforts, leading to faster development cycles, innovative customer solutions and enhanced serviceability. In the end, these advantages lead to improved cost of ownership performance for our customers.”
