Solarlec Partners With LG
Solarlec has announced that it is now an official partner of LG and will be one of a limited number of approved UK suppliers of a ground breaking new type of solar panel produced by the electronics giant. To celebrate the launch of the new MonoX NeoN module, two of LG's global vice presidents visited Solarlec's headquarters in Burnley, Lancashire along with other senior management from its solar division.
The visitors included Michael Harre, vice president of LG's EU Business Group, Sven Armbrecht, area manager of the EU Business Group, C.S. Chung, vice president of the Solar Marketing Division, Eunice Yoo, manager of the Solar Marketing Division and Won Mo, senior manager of the Solar Marketing Division.
Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec said: "To have one vice president visit us is obviously fantastic, but for two VPs and an entire delegation of senior management to pay us a visit shows LG's commitment to both Solarlec and our customers - we are extremely pleased to be an important partner of LG.
"The neon module is at the absolute cutting edge of global solar technology so we're truly honoured to be working alongside LG to bring the world's premium solar panels to our customers."
LG says its MonoX NeoN solar modules are designed to be easier to install and among the lightest in the world, yet offer robust durability and maximum efficiency.
James Lee, Senior Vice President, LG Electronics USA, said: "The market is demanding higher efficiency solutions that are easier for installers to use and LG is meeting that demand.
"Our new MonoX NeoN module offers installers the ability to take on a greater number of jobs in a shorter period of time. With the growing demand for solar energy, ease of installation will help drive the market."
The LG delegation spent the day meeting Solarlec's directors and addressing the company's team of energy advisors with a presentation and Q&A session about the new module.
