Wagner Solar Pleased With Solar UK Award
Wagner Solar has) received acknowledgement for its TRIC F Box flat roof mounting system, by winning the 2013 Solar UK Award in the category "˜BOS Installation Tool.' The Solar Award is granted through a readers' poll so this is a genuine accolade and a sign of industry demand.
Commenting on the award is Mark Osborne, Managing Director at Wagner Solar UK Ltd, "The TRIC F Box system has been designed and developed with the installers needs in mind, to enable them to save time on installation work whilst increasing the possibilities for PV systems on flat roofs with sensitive structural loads. We are really proud to have this product recognised by such an important industry award and we can assure the installer community that our R&D department are continuing to work on exciting developments for other product areas."
The TRIC F box has a lightweight design and can be installed with just two tools, minimising installation time by up to 50% compared to conventional alternatives and at the same time reducing the required ballast dramatically. It is available in two variations which together, make both southern orientations as well as east / west orientations of solar power systems possible. The panels are always installed vertically. Due to an angle of 10°, the usable roof area can be increased to 65 per cent for southern orientation and 95 per cent for east / west systems respectively, both of which can lead to higher rates of return for end consumers.
The aerodynamically optimised and lightweight design gives us the advantage of minimum ballast which can be as low as 5kg per panel, significantly reducing the structural load without penetrating the roofing. Wagner Solar already provide customised dimensioning service at no extra cost, so installers of this new racking system have the peace of mind of knowing that the system meets snow load and wind loads for the specific location.
As with all TRIC racking products, the TRIC F Box comes with a 10 year product warranty.
