SolarMax Expands Sales Operations In The UK
The Swiss solar inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering (SolarMax) is driving forward with its European expansion with a number of key additions to the UK sales team.
In recognition of the increasingly important distributor sales channel, Andrew Lycett joins the team as the UK Distribution Manager. The existing Key Accounts team is also strengthened by two additional experienced Key Account managers, Erica Westmore and Steve Bingham.

The investment in the UK team has also been matched by significant investment in product development, with a number of exciting, Swiss-quality inverter solutions due to be launched in 2014.
"The UK market is busy across all the different sectors, from residential through to utility scale", states Martin Allman, Regional Manager North at SolarMax. "In particular, we are seeing significant opportunities on commercial rooftop sites, with a strong pipeline of PV plants between 50kW and 500kW on factories and warehouses."
At Ecobuild 2014, SolarMax launched their inverter solution for commercial PV plants - the new 30kW and 32kW HT Series string inverters. With their high output density and smart multi-tracking concept, the HT series is designed to ensure the optimum operation of each individual part generator, even with highly complex system configurations and partial shading.
SolarMax has been active in the UK PV market since 2011, achieving significant success in the residential, commercial and utility-scale sectors. The continuing expansion is a testament to the company's bold ambitions to drive forward business growth in the important UK market.
"From homes to commercial rooftops to solar farms, the outlook for SolarMax in the UK in 2014 is extremely positive", adds Martin Allman.
