SynaptiQ Solar Signs On Hazel Capital In The UK

3E's SynaptiQ team delivered a full turnkey monitoring solution to renewable energy infrastructure investment firm, Hazel Capital, to monitor the ground-mounted solar assets it manages for the Hazel Renewable Energy Venture Capital Trusts. The solution includes data loggers, sensors, and the monitoring and reporting platform SynaptiQ Solar.

"To support Hazel Capital fully, we had to deliver an advanced monitoring and reporting solution in a very short time frame and make sure the platform was operational immediately," said Rémy Tasse, SynaptiQ Director, "Thanks to SynaptiQ Solar, Hazel Capital now has a clear, detailed view on the performance of its systems and contractors."

SynaptiQ continues to develop its service offering in the UK, since opening an office in London in January 2014.

The new deal follows the release of new advanced reporting modules for its SynaptiQ Solar monitoring and reporting software. The new features, named SynaptiQ BI -short for business intelligence- are designed for asset managers and investors who need to analyse and report on the overall performance of their solar PV portfolios, by combining data from different data repositories including their monitoring system, ERP or other databases.

SynaptiQ BI is a separate tool accessed through familiar excel and sharepoint applications, which provides access to full business intelligence features. SynaptiQ BI includes a full range of templates, filters and visualization tools to display data and create intuitive, comprehensive reports.

These new integrated reporting features are particularly adapted for the high-level management of large portfolios and make is possible for users to save considerable time on their regular reporting and business analysis tasks.
